The Second EU Youth Challenge was held in the main building of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies on 23 Dec 2011.
T students submitted theses on “Awareness of the EU among University Students in Korea.” This competition is different from the First EU Young Challenge, which was a presentation competition on European integration.
Thirteen teams participated with their theses based on their two-month long survey on “The Awareness of the EU among University Students in Korea”.
Six teams passed the preliminaries and presented at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
Lee Mi Ji, a student at the Graduate School of International and Area Studies of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies won the first prize at the event. The six best research papers were published in a book, and more than 300 volumes were distributed to educational institutions related to the EU.
