Competition Law in the EU and Business with Member Countries Forum

The Centre held the second KOR-EU Forum at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the title of “” on 18 January 2012. The Centre invited Prof. Sandra Marco-Colino, from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. A large number of experts on EU Law and business stakeholders from many trade SMEs participated in this forum. Pointing out the importance of understanding the EU’s competition law in order to trade with EU member states, Prof. Marco-Colino discussed contravention cases in terms of the EU’s competition law. She also explained some important articles for trade between EU member states. After the lecture, Gisik Hwang, from Donga University and Yoseop Choi, from HUFS, further discussed this theme and participants made inquiries about the EU’s competition law.
