The HUFS-HRI EU Centre invited Mr. Klaus Hänsch, former President of the European Parliament, to deliver a special lecture in the Law Building, Cho Myeongdeok Hall, on 2 December 2011. Mr. Hänsch pointed out that introspection, forgiveness and reconciliation were preconditions to overcoming the animosity between Poland and Germany. He also mentioned that north-east Asian countries need to remove hostility and animosity and make an effort to reach co-prosperity and reconciliation.
