Results of the 6th EU Certificate Course

The HUFS Jean Monnet EU Center (Director Sihong Kim) held the 6th EU Certificate Course on Thursday, April 3rd and Thursday, April 10th in the conference room on the 11th floor of the main building of the Seoul Campus.

The course was attended by 65 undergraduate and graduate students from six universities in Seoul, and focused on various topics such as the history of the European Union, strategic partnership, the second Trump administration and the trade war, security cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region, and the outlook for Korea-EU relations.

Participants engaged in active discussions and debates on the changes in the rules-based international order and its alternatives amidst the rapidly changing international situation, and had the opportunity to broaden their academic insights through in-depth lectures and Q&A sessions that combined theory and practice.

The JMCE EU Center will continue to operate the EU Certificate Course in the future, striving to help Hankuk University of Foreign Studies establish itself as a central institution for European studies in Korea and the East Asia region.
