On June 26, an international conference was held in the conference room of the Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid, Spain, sponsored by Gyeonggi Province, hosted by the Korean Society of Contemporary European Society and the HUFS Jean Monnet EU Center. The participants of the conference were comprised of a panel of scholars, public officials, and civil society representatives. Director Kim Si-hong moderated the keynote session and the Korea-EU Forum session and led the conference. In Madrid, a dinner was held at the official residence at the invitation of Ambassador Lim Soo-seok of the Embassy in Spain, and key figures such as former Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Jin and Yang In-jip, President of the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Alumni Association, attended the event.
