On 26 Mar, HUFS JMCE held a seminar on “The Path to European Defence: from the EDC to PESCO” at the room 203, International Building, HUFS. Joelle Hivonnet, the Head of Political, Press and Information Section in the EU Delegation was invited as lecturer. She presented the lecture on brief history of European defence cooperation from Paris Treaty to EU-NATO cooperation and recent PESCO(Permanent Structured Cooperation), the part of EU’s security and defence policy. Following the lecture, there was active Q&A session with students on issues such as security cooperation after Brexit, etc.
