There was a sponsored by Jean Monnet Lifelong Learning Programme(head: Prof. Eung-eun Kim) at Obama hall in Minerva Complex, HUFS.
HUFS got recognition for capability and achievement in European Studies and has been selected as the only institution for Jean Monnet Lifelong Learning Programme in Asia which is sponsored by the EU. For the development of ‘lifelong education’, HUFS has been worked on the theme of ‘EU Learning in Korea.’
As a part of the programme, around 50 students who passed the preliminaries participated in . There were certificates of award from president of HUFS, ambassador of EU representatives and head of Jean Monnet Lifelong Learning Programme to the prizewinning students. Also, every participant got plaque and souvenir.
The exhibition of EU paintings by elementary school students and performances by HUFS students to celebrate the event also held together. After the quiz contest, there was a round table conference among the high school teachers, prizewinning students and internal EU researchers. With these various kinds of events, the contest culminated in success.
