Director Kim Sihong was invited by the European Union to attend the 35th anniversary meeting of Jean Monnet Actions, held in Brussels Square on October 9–10 through the onsite participation of 180 scholars and the online participation of 160 people. The conference was an opportunity for the directors of the JM Centre and the JM chairs from all over the world to look back on the study of European integration and envision the future. In Asia, only a handful of participants—South Korean professors Kim and Park Sunghoon of Korea University, as well as representatives from the University of Malaya and Nehru University in India—took part in the event, but they had time to reach a tacit agreement that the spirit of unity should be maintained while sharing the current multi-level crisis.
