The Korean mission to the EU holds a reception on 27 May 2013, commemorating 50th anniversary of the Korea-EU relations. Korea and EU established diplomatic relations each other on 24 July 1963, and held a memorial reception both in Seoul and Brussels.
This reception was held to look back upon 50 years of Korea and the EU, and proposed the opening of ‘global happiness period’ as future progressive and important partner sharing humankind universal value such as democracy, the market economy, and human rights.
President Chul Park and Prof. Sihong Kim attended.
