The Centre held its seventh special lecture with Lucio Izzo, Director of Italian Cultural Institute in Seoul, about “the European Way of Learning and Teaching Languages.”This lecture was co-hosted by the Italian department of HUFS and the HUFS-HRI EU Centre.
In the lecture, according to Lucio Izzo, Director of Italian Cultural Institute in Seoul, learning and teaching languages in Europe is greatly important policy. Already, the EU has 23 official languages and spent pretty sizeable amount of money on the translation part of the EU. For these reasons, the EU and member states of the EU take lots of efforts on language policy.
