Director Kim Si-hong attended international conferences hosted by Renmin University of China and Beihang University in Beijing, China, from 18 to 20 December, presenting a paper entitled “Fifty Years of EU-China Relations at a Crossroads.” The conference at Renmin University on the 18th was held under the theme “China-Europe Relations in the Era of Turbulent Transformations.”
On the 19th, the Beihang University international conference, themed “2025 Beihang International Academic Forum on Global Governance: The Interdisciplinary and Multi-Dimensional Global Governance in the Changing World,” brought together over 50 international political scientists and European studies scholars from around the world. It served as a meaningful forum for diagnosing the changing international order and pursuing new norms.
Director Kim also delivered a special lecture on the evening of the 18th to Beihang University undergraduates, addressing the topic “Korea-EU Strategic Partnership in Navigating Uncharted Waters.”
